Hello world!
I love dancing. Whenever I hear music I start to groove--even just my dad singing. Nobody taught me; I just know. Sometimes my mama hums to me when I have my milkies and I hum back. We have conversations, too. I know what I'm saying; I just wish I knew for sure what she's saying.
I'm tall enough to play the piano by myself now. I just have to reach up.
I sleep till 8 or 9 o'clock now. I don't even wake up once. I used to wake up at 5.30 AM for a snack and bum change, but not any more. I like to sleep.
One time my mama was reading her book on the sofa and and I walked behind it and hid from her. It was so funny I couldn't help giggling--she didn't even know I was there! Then she turned around and was so surprised to see me! I laughed and laughed.
Love,
Franklin

Hello World
Last week was the best week so far!
Mum and Dad were home all week so I got to hang out with both of them, and play whenever I wanted with whomever I wanted. I mostly played with Dad downstairs and on walks with the dog. I can call out to the dog on walks, so she knows where we are and doesn't get lost. I shout out "DOG!" and she comes back.
I played with Mum upstairs mostly, and read all her books and schoolwork to make sure she has done it right. Dad took me to Baby group again, and I played with Logan. He's an old boy, but he can't walk as well as I can. We read all the books on the racks together (then Dad put them all back) and then we played football together. We didn't have a goal or anything, but we practised our passing together for at least five minutes.
I can tell I'm getting older, because I've got even more teeth than I did last week. They sometimes stop me sleeping at night, but when I call out at 2.30 Dad is always there for a cuddle, or Mum is there for a snuggle, so that's okay. I think they would get bored if I wasn't here for them.
Love,
Franklin

Hello World!
My Dad has been helping me with everything this week I mean EVERYTHING! He's been putting me to bed, getting me up, walking me, driving me, dressing me, undressing me, taking me to baby group each week, and even feeding me. How cool is that? I always thought that Mum was the only one who could do everything, but apparently I have two parents who can look after me.
So what have I learned this week that I hadn't learned last week? I can now say "Dog!", even though dad thinks I'm saying "Woof!", and I also know how fast I can fall asleep when I'm in the car. My toys and experiments I have around the living room are coming along nicely, and I can press some buttons and plungers to make some things spin, some things make music and blow balls in my face (I don't think this is funny, but it is funny when I make them hit Dad's face) and I also have a train that I can now control whenever I like.
I can also get my own food from the kitchen. It is very tasty, and it is in a silver bowl on the floor next to a big dish of water. It is in three delicious flavours, beef, chicken and rabbit. Dad gets jealous when he sees me eating my own food, and makes me spit it out, but then he replaces it with tasty food that I share with him which is almost as nice. Then, when we've finished, the dog is allowed in and she eats the rest of mine.
Love,
Franklin

Forty-three weeks five days
Hello world!
My mama is staying at the hospital. She's ok though. I like the nurses there. I run around the hall holding my mama's hand. I played peekaboo with a doctor. He has a beard just like my dad.
Me and dad are home together while my mama's not here. It's great! Only it means I mostly have my nap in the car. That's ok, though. When I wake up at night for milkies, my dad gives them to me in a cup, then I go back to sleep. This morning I couldn't get back to sleep in my big boy bed so my dad let me sleep snuggled up. I like that. It's cozy.
Sometimes I play games with the dog. One time she was hiding behind the chair and whenever I peeked over to look at her, she looked at me! It was so funny I kept doing it and nearly fell down laughing. Then sometimes the dog goes a little crazy and runs around in circles. One time me and mama chased after the dog when she was running. It was definitely the most hilarious thing ever. I have a great sense of humor.
Dad says he's going to take me to baby group tomorrow since my mama isn't here. I love baby group. I crawl and walk around and eat all kinds of toys and watch the other babies. I can really crawl now too. I got tired of army crawling, though I did it for a long time. Now I crawl on my hands and knees.
Love,
Franklin

Hello world!
I played with my cousin Grace. She's two years old. She called me "Baby" but my name is actually Franklin.
I'm mostly really good at going to sleep by myself, but sometimes I just can't do it. I lay in bed and yell, or stand up and yell. Even if I'm tired. And then when I wake up sometimes I like to lay in bed and talk or stand up and talk.
I can stand up by myself for a few seconds. And take a couple steps without falling. I really like walking around. My mama has to watch out, because if she walks near me, I reach out and grab her and walk around with her. I go where I want to go, too. She just has to follow.
I can play peekaboo. I duck down behind the coffee table, and my mama gets worried and says, "Where's Franklin?" Then I pop up and she's so surprised she says, "There he is!" It's so funny!
Love,
Franklin
